Disclaimer:
We charge a service call fee of $100 if our technician arrives on site during the designated time window and no one is there to meet him, if cancellations are made less than 24 hours before your appointment time, if our technician arrives on site and the chimney is too hot to sweep, if he is unable to perform the work due to lack of maintenance or non-code compliant fireplaces, if the job can't be performed due to misinformation provided upon booking or due to safety concerns. 

Chimney Sweeps - Chimneys which have excessive build-up/have not been regularly maintained, have bird nests, etc, may be subject to additional fees.

Air Duct Cleaning - There may be additional fees if our technician is removing rodents from air handling systems, is working in areas that have evidence of rodent activity. We do not disassemble your air handling unit. If an air handling unit is extremely dirty due to overall neglect and/or lack of maintenance, further cleaning may be necessary, beyond what we are able to offer. Our cleanings will remove airborne contaminants. We do not remove any type of sludge, grime, etc., if it can not be easily cleaned with compressed air or a damp cloth. In the case that an air handler fan motor is heavily coated in dust: Sometimes the dust will act as an insulator and removing it can cause the fan motor to stop working once the dust has been removed. We are not held liable if this situation occurs during the cleaning. We are not held liable for any damage/disconnections caused to electrical or plumbing that are located inside or around air ducts. Our tools are designed to be used around wiring and piping that has been properly installed and secured in and around air ducts, without risk of causing damage. We are not held liable if one of our airlines or whips becomes lodged / lost in an air duct and we are unable to retrieve it. Our tools are designed to move smoothly through air ducts and around corners without becoming stuck. We are not responsible for cleaning the outside of any ductwork. During the cleaning, our equipment will cause some vibration of the ductwork, which can cause dust on the outside to fall down onto surfaces and items below. If there is a lot of exposed ductwork in your home and the top is very dusty, we recommend wiping down the top before the cleaning. 

HRV Systems - We will do our best to clean all areas of the air handling system. Sometimes with HRVs, there are areas which are inaccessible as most of the ducts are behind drywall. 

Dryer Vent Cleaning - There may be additional fees if dryer vents are very difficult to access, have blockages or bird nests or have to be cleaned from both the interior and exterior due to being extremely long or difficult to clean. We are not responsible for any damage caused by water in the vent, rodents/birds, poor construction or lack of regular maintenance for the vent and/or the dryer. We do not move stacking washer/dryer units, units which are built in or are difficult to move out due to lack of space around the unit. We are not held liable if one of our tools becomes lodged in an air duct and we are unable to retrieve it. Our tools are designed to move smoothly through air ducts and around corners without becoming stuck.
