Please answer all the questions below, if the Complete Cleaning Option has been chosen.

 

Please read the bottom of this form for more information pertaining to each situation that may arise.

 

If approved by strata, the use of the air sled appliance mover will be charged the rate of the Essential cleaning + $100,

for each unit, as required.

 

Flex Hoses: To replace flex hoses, when required, the rate will be $10 - $30, depending on amount of materials used.

 

We do not offer direct billing to each resident for stratas with 5 or more units.

1. In situations where the dryer can not be moved to access the flex hose and behind the dryer, the Essential cleaning will be performed and the Essential cleaning rate will apply. The strata agrees to this statement.
2. Stacking Laundry Units: Does the strata approve the use of the air sled appliance mover if a stacking unit needs to be moved to access the flex hose and the back of the dryer?
3. Side by Side Laundry Units: Does the strata approve the use of the air sled appliance mover if a washing machine needs to be moved to access the flex hose and the back of the dryer?
4. Flex Hose Replacements: Does the strata approve our technician to replace flex hoses as required to be able to complete the job?

Detailed Information for Each Question

Question 2:

We do not generally move stacking laundry units without the air sled appliance mover. This is for the safety of our technician and to protect your home.

Question 3:

Occasionally, the washing machine needs to be moved in order to access the flex hose for cleaning. For the safety of our technician and to protect your home, we do not generally move washing machines without the use of the air sled.

Question 4:

A new flex hose may be required if:

  • The flex hose is too short to pull the dryer out far enough for access.

  • The flex hose is rigid and can not be easily reconnected after the cleaning.

  • The dryer is connected with hard pipe and a flex hose can be added to make for easier future maintenance.

  • The flex hose is in poor condition.

  • The flex hose is plastic.

Situations where we may not be able to use the air sled:

  • If there is a lip/transition strip in front of the laundry unit.

  • If the laundry unit is in a closet that prevents it from being lifted slightly and pulled out.

  • If there are objects around or in front of the laundry unit that prevents us from having enough space to pull the laundry unit out.

  • If there is a countertop or built-in shelving directly above the laundry unit.

Situations where a Complete cleaning is not possible and the Essential cleaning will be performed:

  • There is a countertop, shelving, etc. built overtop of the laundry unit and the flex hose is not visible.

  • The air sled is not able to be used.

  • There are objects preventing the dryer being pulled out enough to service the flex hose. *We do not move objects out of the way during the appointment.
